Amazon Launches ‘Prime Wardrobe’ In The UK
Amazon has started running a ‘try before you buy’ fashion shopping service for UK Prime customers.
Brands including Levi’s, New Look, and Ted Baker will be available to purchase through Prime Wardrobe UK. Customers can have clothes delivered free of charge, with a seven day window in which to either return or pay for their items.
The service has been running in the US since June this year. With fit being an important factor when clothes shopping, Amazon have said they noticed a gap in the market for letting customers try on their purchases at home without extra cost.
Vimeo Integrates With LinkedIn To Enable Video Publishing To Company Pages
Vimeo announced on Monday end-to-end integration with LinkedIn via its ‘Publish to Social’ feature.
Marketers can now publish videos to their LinkedIn company pages directly from a Vimeo account via the ‘Publish to Social’ feature. Vimeo’s stat dashboard will also include metrics to show how videos are performing on LinkedIn and other social networks.
Advertisers Switching To Amazon
A new report released this week suggests that digital advertisers are planning to spend more money on Amazon next year. Amazon is currently third in digital ad sales behind Facebook and Google. The Amazon Advertising Forecast released by Third Door Media found that 30 per cent of advertisers indicated they were planning to shift budget away from search to fund their spending increase. It’s potentially a big deal as it could spell a break in the control that Google and Bing currently have over digital spend and shows an increased appetite for marketing on Amazon.
