SocialB are extremely pleased to announce that CEO Lynsey Sweales picked up the award of Best Newcomer’ of the DMA Councils last night.
The councils are made up of a wide range of experienced leaders within their industry sectors and help share best practices through whitepapers, interviews, surveys and events.
During Lynsey’s year on the social media council her most enjoyable project was interviewing the farming sector on how they use social media.
Although they say never work with children or animals Lynsey was keen to capture the farmers in action and with their cattle who all behaved impeccably . You can watch the videos here.
Lynsey comments ‘It was a lovely surprise to receive an award in my first year of the councils and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the projects I’ve been involved in’.
Lynsey was invited on to the social media council earlier in 2013 where she works alongside the likes of Facebook, Microsoft and other leading industry names in sharing social media best practices.
